PA DOH canceled the Monroe County COVID-29 testing clinic at PM West HS for Monday, Feb. 1, due to the winter storm. All Monroe County government offices closed on Monday, Feb 1.

St Lukes Geisinger Vaccine Clinics Closed Monday and Tuesday. If you had an appointment for these days, please call 1-866-785-8537, option 7 to reschedule. All existing appointments and boosters will be honored and expedited.


The Monroe County Courthouse will be CLOSED MONDAY Feb 1, BUT all VIRTUAL PROCEEDINGS are being HELD AS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED

Protection from Abuse (PFA) hearings that were scheduled for Monday Feb 1 are now continued to Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at the same time that your original hearing was scheduled.


All state office buildings will be closed Monday Feb 1

  • The following vehicle types are prohibited: EMPTY TANDEM TRAILERS, EMPTY TRAILER TRUCKS, MOTORCYCLES, PERMITTED LOADS, RV/CAMPERS, VEHICLES WITH TOW BEHIND TRAILERS, TRACTORS WITHOUT TRAILERS, SCHOOL BUSES, COMMERCIAL BUSES AND MOTOR COACHES

  • The speed limit has been reduced to 45mph with Commercial Vehicles Right Lane Only.

COOLBAUGH TWP SNOW EMERGENCY The board of supervisors and emergency management of Coolbaugh has declared a snow emergency in effect from Sunday January 31 at 18:00 hours until Tuesday February 2nd at 11 am. This emergency declaration is to ensure the roads are clear for plowing. Do not park any vehicles on the roadway or in the township right of way. If anyone does, they will be subject to the vehicle being towed at the owners expense. The possibility of up to two feet of snow will impact travel.
