Public Comments Sought by Governor's PA Redistricting Reform Commission
Updated: Jun 5, 2019
The Public is invited to attend a local meeting of the PA Redistricting Reform Commission, an advisory body created by Governor Tom Wolf.
There will be two opportunities for public comment on your concerns and ideas for redistricting reform. There will be a sign up sheet to register for comments before the panel.
The Governor's Redistricting Reform Commission invites public comment on the harms of gerrymandering and recommendations for a non-partisan process that safeguards election integrity and fairness. This is one of nine regional meetings.
The meeting will be held in the Henry Student Center (2nd floor ballroom) at Wilkes University on Thursday, June 6th..
Although the commission will be meeting from 4 to 7 PM, the event will be divided into two sessions, with multiple opportunities to speak. Come from 4 to 5:30, or 5:30 to 7, or drop in for as much as you can and leave a comment on the Wall of Democracy.

Earlier this year, the Mount Pocono Borough Council unanimously passed an anti-gerrymandering resolution proposed by Council Member Tom Ford.
