Mayor Postpones Halloween to Saturday
For only the second time in thirty years, Mount Pocono's Halloween has been postponed. Late yesterday evening, the Borough's interim mayor announced on Facebook that trick or treating hours would be moved to Saturday, November 2. The only other time Borough employees recall this happening over the last 30 years was in the aftermath of a hurricane when most of the Borough lacked power, trees blocked most major streets, and we were in a declared disaster area. The forecast for tonight calls for rain and light winds.
