Governor Orders All Non-Life Sustaining Businesses to Close Physical Locations as of 8pm Today

HARRISBURG (MAR 19 2020) -- Following a determination by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health that Pennsylvania has "community spread" of the novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19, the Governor today used his emergency powers to order all "non-life-sustaining" businesses to close physical locations by 8 pm tonight. Enforcement actions against non-compliant businesses will start of Saturday, March 21. The Governor's office provided an official list of businesses showing which are permitted to remain open and which must close. You can view or download a COPY HERE.
